Courses Offered -Junior College (COMMERCE)

TheJunior College offers courses in Science and Commerce prescribed by theMaharashtra state Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education at the10+2 level. The courses lead to the Higher secondary Certificate Examination inthe respective streams.

Scheme ofEvaluation

1. Examinations are conducted as per the ruleslaid down by the State HSC Board.

2. The Preliminary examination for S.Y.J.CStudents is compulsory.

3. The F.Y.J.C students will appear for fourexamination viz 2 Unit Tests 

(a) One terminal test 
(b) at the end of the first term and one final examination 
(c) at the end of the year. 

A students has to obtain a minimum of 35% marks in each subject on an averagei.e. a+b+c should be 35% (105 marks out of 300 marks) in order to be promotedto S.Y.J.C. class.

Admission &Eligibility - Junior College(Commerce)

1. Admission to First year in Junior college(FYJC - Std XI) is offered following the declaration of result of S.S.C.examination by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher SecondaryEducation. The admissions are given strictly as per the directions issued bythe Department of Education, Govt. of Maharashtra from time to time.

2. The candidates who have passed the S.S.C.examination of Maharashtra Board of Secondary &Higher Secondary Educationor an examination regarded as equivalent by the State Board are eligible for admissionto F.Y.J.C. (Std XI) class.

3. The students who have passed the equivalentexamination as mentioned above will have to produce a provisional eligibilitycertificate issued by the Divisional Secretary, Maharashtra State Board ofSecondary Education, Sector no. 16, Vashi, Navi Mumbai- 400073.

4. The eligible candidates have to apply in theprescribed form made available after the declaration of S.S.C. result.

5. The schedule of admission as prescribed bythe Deputy Director (Education), Dept. of education,Govt. of Maharashtra willbe strictly followed.

6. Students passing Std.X from CBSE and ICSEBoards will be considered at par with those who have passed the S.S.C.examination of the State Board.
